Erin Mohnke is Colibri Group’s vice president of human resources business partnership. In her role, Erin leads a team of HR business partners to serve as a clear point of contact for daily HR needs, as well as a strategic talent partner to the business. This model, she believes, advances the employee HR experience and increases the ability to proactively develop people strategies.
To Erin, a company’s success — and the business strategies that get it there — are driven by its people. “A business strategy is just a plan on paper until you enable it with people,” she says. “Then, the real magic happens.”
When she’s not driving Colibri’s HR efforts, Erin is making memories with her husband and two children, Levi and Brynn. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring the country through road trips, skiing and testing new chocolate truffle recipes at Christmas.
Her favorite core value is curiosity: “It’s about being genuinely interested and asking great questions to truly understand and generate ideas,” she says. “It’s at the root of continuous improvement.”
Prior to Colibri Group, Erin held various leadership positions at Ameren, including four years as director of HR strategy and workforce analytics. In this role, she led the design and execution of an HR transformation that reimagined how people, processes, and technology came together to drive business. Before Ameren, Erin worked as the vice president of HR for Wind Capital Group, a wind energy development company.
Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Missouri (Mizzou) and a master’s degree in HR development from Webster University in Missouri.
