Joshua Braunstein

Joshua Braunstein is Colibri Group’s president of financial services. In his role, Joshua leads a team in providing life-long learning opportunities for professionals in the financial services industry.

“My goal is to provide a link between strategy and execution that helps our employees deliver more to students and professionals,” he says.

As president, Joshua ensures our financial services unit — a recognized leader in licensing for the securities, banking, mortgage, wealth management, and insurance sectors — provides education that furnishes high pass rates, student-instructor communication, and an intuitive learning platform to house it all.

When he’s not leading a team, Joshua is hiking or skiing with his wife and three daughters. At home, he’s working with his hands: Joshua and his daughter built a model railroad set and, in years past, he built and maintained a reef tank. 

His favorite core value is joy: “We have to infuse everything we do with energy, passion, and a genuine desire that’s linked to joyfulness in the outcome,” Joshua says. “I believe we can’t succeed as a team or as individuals unless we’re having fun doing it.”

Prior to Colibri Group, Joshua was president and managing director at OnCourse Learning and Becker Professional Education, now both members of Colibri’s family of brands. Before OnCourse and Becker, Joshua spent more than 15 years in leadership roles at Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of professional learning and software solutions. While there, he led the company’s Corsearch and CCH Research and Learning businesses.

Joshua holds a bachelor’s of political science from Middlebury College in Vermont.
